STRONGFISH announced today the publication of the new APA of Connecticut upgraded web site. The new web site functionality is programmed using Perl, ASP, SQL, SSI, JavaScript, Dhtml, and Html.
"The APA of Connecticut had a need to update billiard event information, news, and other information for their members. After using an interactive polling device on their web site we took user feedback and combined the outcome with the requirements and needs of league operator Bruce Barthelette for a solution that obviously was a success."
The last business quarter of 2003 showed an increase of web visitors with 32,163 page views. So far this year they are showing 26,395 page views only after 6 weeks into the first business quarter. The statistics show that the pool players are using the web site more to answer their questions and to find relevant data online.
The APA of Connecticut is the second largest pool playing community in the United States their web site can be viewed at www.ctapa.com.
